“Lovena B. Fox's strong voice and beautifully charismatic performance is right on in the lead role.”

Annie Boulanger - Burnaby Now

“Lovena B. Fox in the title role displays a beautiful soprano voice…”

By Alan Charlton - The BC Catholic

“Lovena B. Fox takes on the role of the saint-like woman, and with an impressive number of awards and nominations under her belt, it’s not surprising she pulls it off spectacularly. In nearly every scene and singing almost every song in the two hour musical, Fox runs the gamut of emotions from defiant to tearful and everything in between.”

Rachel Meloche - Youthlink

“Lovena B. Fox is mesmerizing in the role of the central character. The exotic soprano barely sings a wrong note throughout her performance. She is playful as Eva the vivacious teenager, desperate to escape the poverty of her rural village, and moving as the fading icon close to death in the final scenes.”

John Jane

“Evita’s signature tune “Don’t Cry for me Argentina" and if you buy a ticket simply to hear that sung, you will not be disappointed. Lovena Fox belts it out on several occasions. Her portrayal of the spiteful and power-mad creature who can summon charm as if by magic is passionate. “

MISBEHAVIN' NOT TO BE MISSED
by Rita Ubriaco
Lovena Fox’s bright clear voice displayed some startling highs in 'Yacht Club Swing', and what she did with a hand bag prop in 'How ya Babe' was worthy of a classic  comic actor.

SHOW FEATURES LIVELY CAST
by Craig Bakay
Fox seems especially wrapped up in her character. She is delightful as an  empty-headed goodtime girl and manages to adapt her operatic voice to rhythm and blues with ease and eloquence.

“Lovena Fox …showed the knock out  power of her voice”

by Roger Mitton
...Ms Fox is the one who caught my eye in this years hit show Ain’t  Misbehavin. As well as being able to belt out a hand clapping, foot stomping number, and croon a  sensual lullaby, Fox can move. Mercy.

by Madelene Bailey
